Moved by the huge number of children who have been affected by problems of poverty, violence, and neglect, was born the idea to help extremely poor children of school age (6 to 11 years old), who for obvious reasons can not attend school and are destined to follow the same circle as their parents (they and their parents remain illiterate).

Our organization also aims to encourage the children to improve their personal hygiene with the hope of increasing their self-esteem and personal autonomy, using techniques that stimulate their curiosity and love of learning by providing a healthy environment of respect and values.

S.O.S Peru has ben providing quality education through alternative schools to children in extreme poverty that are unable to attend government-run educational institutes - has been doing this for 9 years..

  • Reduce child illiteracy.

  • Encourage hygiene and order for the children.

  • Increase their self-esteem and personal autonomy.

  • Provide education for the children.

  • Stimulate their curiosity and love of learning by developing a healthy environment providing respect and values.

  • Help the chidlren develop a love and respect for nature.

The project is located in urban centers and rural villages of the Peruvian territory.

We are currently working in Alto Trujillo which is located on the outskirts of Trujillo , in the Region known as “La Libertad".
